I have a question. My man is in ASU (the hole) and has asked for money on his books. I know the first 55% of any $ is taken, what is the average amount you ladies put on your mans books and how often? Also do you know how often they can get "store" ?

Well my husbands restitution was already paid so he does not get 55% taken any way he spends $50 a month at the store and goes every month - hope that helps:thumbsup:

My man is also in the hole. I send him $50.00 cuz that's the max you can get in the hole (ISP).Chuckies may be different.:shrug: BTW it's once a month.

:blah: That is just plain crazy that they take 55% for restitution. I use to send my BF $100 just so he can get $45. I use to get so upset :angry: That is my hard earned money...LOL :D I remember my BF use to tell me that he can only go to store with $45. He was in the hole at ISP as well :thumbsup:

Since they only get "store" once a month, do they get it on a specific day of the month or does that mean they can go once a month anytime of the month?

Depends what draw he is. 1st draw,2nd draw so forth.

Jermaine and I realized that sending him money was a waste and seeing that we don't have much, it was better to send him a quarterly package. It's only once but I sent him EVERYTHING. The rest of the money we spent on phone calls and visits and I sent him a chess game with the QP but I could send him books and mags any time. You can also send him paper and stamps anytime too. Just find out what he wants and get as much as is allowed. I think I spent seventy bucks this last time. As for the hole, I don't know if they are limited. Call R/R and see. Just get general questions/answers. When I asked about Jermaine, his counselor had him strip searched as if my asking about him, he has something to hide. What a jerk.
