Welcome! I'm not a great option for carpooling, but I am in Northern CA with a loved one at CTF! I live in Oakland and my big brother is currenty a guest at CTF North. Let us know the first time you go visit and one of us can walk you through the process, and maybe meet you in the morning to help you figure it all out in person!

Yes, I have a loved one in CTF and I am in northern California. I haven't been able to visit yet, but will be looking for any help an advice from this forum.

Yes, I'm here, I got a call today from him. He is not on lock down because he is classified as OTHER and he explained that the northerners and whites are on lockdown. So, he called and we spoke to each other about 1/2 hour or so, the phone kept shutting us off, but he called right back cause there was no line. He said it would have been a great time to visit cause he hears it's not crowded at all in there. We had a nice conversation. He did let me know he's been there 5 years already, and that he was so thrilled that I reached out to contact him and took the time to find him. It was really nice to hear his voice and to finally get some relief on the mail etc. Oh yeah there is someone else sending him a package quarterly, I'm fine with that, let her spend her money, no problem. As soon as I am approved, I'll go down and see him. So he said he would write tonight and keep writing, but he apologised for not writing and he would. He said he didn't want me to worry etc. So sweet. Anyway I'm jazzed.

Hi everyone i'm new to PTO... My fiance' just got transferred to CTF today so any info on the whole initial process would be great... Does he go straight to a yard or do they have a reception area where he'll stay for awhile..... He's level III I do know that much...35 points. Currently i'm in the Seattle area but moving to Sacramento in 2 weeks can't wait i'll be alot closer ... So if anyone wants to shed any light on level III's and what it's like there that would be great.... Anyone else have a level III here....Anyone from the Sac area??? PM me if you'd like :D

What part of Northern California are you at? A lot of folks say they are in Northern Cali but they really arn't. I am 90 miles north of Sac. Are you up by Oregon at all?
