Hi all....

I'm very new this forum and I don't know much about the system at all since this is my first time dealing with it. My son was put in the Red Deer Remand Center and then moved to the Edmonton Remand Center since his lawyer wanted him to appear in court in his jurisdiction. I don't know if he's in med or max but I doubt max b/c in Red Deer he was able to call home at least 3 times/day and his lockdowns were from 11p.m - 7a.m, 12p.m - 3p.m and then 5p.m - 6p.m. He just arrived in Edmonton yesterday and I haven't had a phone call from him and I was just wondering if anyone knows if it's a 23 hour lockdown in the Edmonton Remand Center or if they're not allowed phone calls. I'm at my witts end and don't know where else to turn. Does anyone have any information regarding the Edmonton Remand Center lockdown times and rules??? I do know that if someone has misbehaved they all go on lockdowns for days so that may be the case but other than that I would truly like to find out what the regular lockdown times are or how I can get any information about it.
