Hey! I was wondering if the guys could get books? If so is there a limit of the type of book?

I believe they can if you order them through a book store and sent straight from the company. I don't think they can be sent directly from you. Nothing pornographic, at one time they used to allow playboy subscriptions but they stopped all that.:rolleyes:
Maybe someone will come along and be a little more detailed in what they allow. Things may have changed again, you never know from day to day.
You could probably call and ask what is allowed.

They can receive books, but it has to come from someone like Amazon, BookAMillion, etc. They can receive 2 books per month. Nothing pornographic or along those lines.

Would someone recommend some titles to send? I have no idea where to start!

My son wanted a Bible and religious books. I don't know what he likes, some guys like westerns or mysteries, others like true to life stories. He can also get two magazine subscriptions

I use to send my husband a subscription to Fishing magazines.

i sent my boo an origami book to make stuff for me =) hehe. but he also said the likes john grisham books and novels maybe if you knows your mans favorite movies, you could order him the book of it. just an idea. hope it helps.

Call the prison (I'd call twice at different times just to make sure). Usually from companies only, but you will need to ask if there is a restriction on hard backs. If they can have allow hard backs, you can go to zooba.com they charge a flat rate of 9.95 and shipping is free. HTH
