EVIDENCE = INNOCENCE
Can you imagine a country where you are convicted for crimes you didn't commit based on how you looked or dressed? Or one where you are sentenced to death based on religious beliefs? What country do you think I am referring to - Russia, Brazil, Korea? No, I am talking about W. Memphis, AR.

The case began in 1993 when three innocent boys were brutually murdered for no reason. An additional three boys lost their lives to prison and death row for these three boys' murders that they did not commit.

Before anyone passes judgment, I urge you to learn the facts. Look at the evidence. And look at the lack of evidence that convicted three boys. If you look at this case with an open mind, I can assure you that you will see how unfair these boys were treated here, in the United States, in our home, Arkansas.

Please remember than no DNA has ever linked Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin or Jessie Misskelley to the murders of the three boys who died in Robin Hood Hills in 1993. But we now know DNA evidence linking other individuals has come to light proving three convicted are innocent.

Yes I agree. Even before this latest DNA evidence made it into the public light, I did not think the WM3 had received a fair trial. It was a mockery of the justice system. Maybe now justice will prevail.

Beyond reasonable doubt should be just that - In all countrys In all cases. But especially murder or violent ( ie life or long term crimes ). And the Jury ( as In every citizen ) should be aware how much Is left out that would point to them being totally Innocent. Australia ( Queensland ) Is a classic example of trials like the one mentioned. Upon reading them you simply cannot believe that Its possible for ANYONE to believe It beyond doubt In MANY cases. People world wide need to take a stance against this and All Injustices of the kind world wide.

Oh yer also once again shows how the so called " evidence " presented to the jury was fabricated. This echos far wider then most of us even realise.

I know, every time I think of "beyond a reasonable doubt" I just can't imagine what the jurors and the prosecutors were thinking in this case. The crazy thing is, they had no evidence at the trial, just how they acted, dressed and their music.
It is scary to think about how many innocent people have been incarcerated or put to death because of things just like this. I did research recently on exoneration and what I found was so disheartening.

What about innocent until proven guilty? What about the people that are in the wrong place at the wrong time and didn't do anything. :eek: Sometimes people revert back to the salem witch trial times and will accuse who ever they can just to convict someone to look good for the public.

You are so right! My uncle was sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit all because his crazy girlfriend set her own house on fire and then told the police he did it. Keep in mind, she was supposedly not home, and there was no evidence or witnesses that he was at her house. He was with me when it happened for pete's sake. Please tell me how he was able to be in two places at once?! :angry:

I worked with Death Row and know Damien.The time I was able to spend with him he was always very respectful and I had never had any problems at all out of him and never once felt threatened in any way. The State of Arkansas will spend every penny they can to keep the Memphis Three behind bars because they made a major mistake. I have no question that these young men did not commit the crime that they have served all this time for. If ADC truly abides by there so called oath and if they are really a rehabilitation ( HAH ) for the ones locked up then they should do what they can do to help these men and allow them to have a fair trial with all of the evidence. You know there are men in the system that did not get Death that have commited worse ctimes then they are accused of so how can the goverment determine if a mans life should be taken or not ? In my eyes it is legalized murder.

Can you imagine that people are still in Deniel. That 2 of the west Memphis 3 admitted and plead Guilty, and i do believe testfied againest the one that is on death row,hmmmmmmmmm. did we all forget that.Some people live in a dream world.but i live in the real world. when Damien Echols is finally put to death i'll be a much happier person. when i have to quit paying for his prison stay.

Tell me what crime is worse than what the wm3 did. murder of 3 9yr old kids. there is no worse crime. tell that to the 3 boys parents that were killed.

Razorbacks08 when the guys were picked up they toke the weakest of the three kept him up did not feed him they would not let him sleep and broke him down so the kid after being made promises said GUILTY without legal representation to stand by him. The state will spend every penny they can to keep these guys locked up because they know they made a mistake and they do not want all of the evidence to come out. The bite marks on the bodies found DO NOT MATCH any of the WM3 and other things have been proven also they just do not want it to come out in court. The State has already had to pay Damien over $150000 for not protecting him while he was on Death Row from another Death Row inmate. HE one the suit ADC cannot justify how another inmate got to him with evidence when they are locked down 23 out do 24 hours a day and still have NO CONTACT with other inmates. So please study up on stuff a little before you start throwing stones.

My brother is currently waiting for his opinion on his Rule 37 as well-Many rulings in the WM3 case are the same in my brothers case. It's one of those well he said she said things! I have always felt that if the WM3 case gets turned around there are many chances for other prison appeals to be questioned as well. This ONE REASON is why the courts WILL NOT change their rulings. I am not sure if you know about the law but law is law and until someone challenges prosecutors, judges, and Supreme Courts and beats them then nothing changes. That is what is happening in this case.

I have learned a lot about the judicial system in the NOT SO Great state of Arkansas and the one thing I learned is the Laws in that state need an OVERHAUL!! This trial is headed to FEDERAL LEVEL because the state level folks are CLUELESS and the only way Damien is getting out is when a FEDERAL JUDGE reads all the SH*T that these three went through and realize its time for a change. I have read a lot of Death Row convictions that have headed to Federal and finally won! Sad part is it takes YEARS before it gets there. Because the state level likes the game of cat and mouse way to much!

Older and smarter people then Miskelley have given false confessions after hours of interrogation. If your attitude is let them burn...............then you definitely do NOT belong in this forum. Jessie, Jason and Damien may all have relatives and loved ones who frequent this forum and seek support. I am not exactly sure what your intentions are in this forum but I strongly feel you are not here seeking support but are more likely here to pass judgement. Another person passing judgement on our loved ones is not what most of us need. You do not have to believe that the WM3 are innocent but they at least deserve a fair trial and that they did not get. If your son was sent to death row because of the piddly evidence they convicted the WM3 on and the confessions of an impaired teenager, I am sure you would be looking at this with a different attitude then you seem to have now. Even some of the parents of the victims no longer believe in the guilt of the WM3. That should tell you something. Do the research and then you will see what a travesty of justice this was and is.

Razorback08 like I keep saying I pity you ana your life to have so much hate in your heart. As i have said to you in the other threads in ex-employee visitation, this one and hoe squad, I;m not going to ask you to leave you remind me of some of those asses I worked with when I did work with ADC. Have you yourself been so mistreated and picked on your whole life so you want to come on here so you can try to upset people so they can feel like you feel? Or like I asked before what happened did you or someone you love fall in love with an inmate and leave you ? Do oyu know how many guys have been excuted that were later found that they did not commit the crime ? You are showing people in here what hate is and what kind of idoits work behind the walls, yes there are some good people that do work there but most act like you which is really sad. You know be careful the lord works in strange ways sometimes you may find someone you love locked up and dealing with someone like you someday and please don't say it will never happen because it can happen in any ones family regradless of how rich or poor they may be. So careful please find out FACTS.

I have received many pm's regarding razorbacks08 and his continuing membership with PTO. I have made Admin aware of his lack of support for our site and purpose. I even removed this thread for review.

It was decided that if razorbacks08 returns to PTO, reads his pm's and acts up again, he will most likely have the door slammed on his backside. It was also decided to return this thread to the open boards to show just how closed minded and ignorant some people can be. Beside......... I love the way Kandria put him in his place!!
