Well, I signed up on vinelink to be notified by email when my husband was transferred from county to Diagnostics Unit. I got to work this morning and checked my personal email and it showed that he's been released from Sebastian County and in custody at Diagnostics Unit.
I guess I should be happy that he's not waiting in county anymore. This is what he wanting. It's just that I haven't seen him in over a month (long trip and have to take off work cause visits were only on weekdays). I was going to semi-surprise him this Friday by coming to visit him. I've already taken off work and everything (guess I'll get to go in on Friday ). I really wanted to see him before his B-Day on the 14th, but I guess I'll have to wait. I hope I hear from him soon.
Question is how long will it take for me to actually hear from him or be able to see him? Me and some other family sent him letters and money Friday but he's moved before he got them, I'm sure (it's coming from Ok). Will they transfer his mail or will it come back?
I really don't know why I'm not happier, just a little bummed that I won't get to see him :(!
Thanks for listening to me vent a little. Gotta get back to work!

Most likely the mail will be returned. My boyfriend says they usually stay in diagnostics for at least a week. You can check on the web site to see when he comes out of diagnostics and where he will land. I have been checking the site to see when they move my man. He is currently on the sebastian county waiting list and he is ready to go. I am too cause I want longer than a 15 min visit behind glass.

I signed up on vinelink too to find our when he gets moved. The ADC site still has him listed at diagnostics though. Hubby just told me he got a couple of letters today that had gone to diagnostics, so at least they forwaded the mail (county won't do it, they just return it to you).
When hubby was moved to diagnostics he was able to call me that night and tell me. The worst thing about that stop is he will be in a cell all alone and not be able to talk to anyone. If he is on any type of medication, they will take him off of it to let the prison doctor determine he needs it (like his doc on the outside has no sense).
I was supposed to visit my hubby in county this past weekend, and moving him to diagnostics screwed that all up. I was praying I would get to see him before Christmas. Our first apart in 11 years. I understand there is no vist for 30 days after they move to diagnostics.
I wish there was a way to get more information. It would help those of us out here. I also wish I could afford to have him call more often but at $10+ a call... *sigh*

Yeah I know what you mean about those calls, they can be a lot. I wish my hubby could call more but that doesn't seem to be the case. At leas t you got a call when he got to diagnostics, I think I waited a few days. I"m not sure about the visits yet, I haven't been able to see my husband since Oct. I'm glad they forwarded his mail, I got all of his letters and birthday cards back , but that was from county. This is our first one apart in 6 years so this is going to be really hard.
