My boyfriend is in FCI Gilmer which is in Glenville WV. I live in NC and it is about a 6 hour drive. I have a health condition which will not allow me to drive that far. I am looking at taking he bus but have no idea where I should go. Can anyone tell me the closest place to Glenville.

My husband just got redesignated to FCI Gilmer. I am in Houston Texas so it is 1350 from here, so I totally understand about the difficulty in getting to visit. They keep moving him further away from home, and we've only seen each other one time in almost six years.

Can you tell me anything about what that place is like?? My husband is coming from Yazoo City, so it has to be better than that anyway. God I hope so because that place is horrible. If he has to be so far away, I'm just hoping that the place is ok.
