does anyone know what the conditions are like in this prison and also what the visitation days and hours are would apreciate the information as if daniel gets off d/r he will want to transfer so checking this one a bismarck north dakota thanks all peace and love mary

If you go to the 'search' link in the gray bar at the top right of the PTO screen... click on that.

In the search page type in anamosa and then below on the left click search titles only and then submit search... you will receive 4 or 5 threads on this prison.... you can try a more detailed search by 'searching entire post' instead to see if this prison is mentioned anywhere esle on PTO.

You can also go to the Iowa Doc site...there isnt much imfo there, but may help you some. I can tell you that they consider this the 2nd worst prision in our state. My guy right now is in classification and This is one that he could very well be at, so Im not much more help than that. Here is the doc site...Hope this helps. Hey Heather! I was wondering the very same thing. If he is in MT and you are in WI, why would he want to transfer to IA?

I came across a web site about Annie (Anamosa) 3 or 4 months ago that told about it's history, stories of past inmates, etc. I do not know the address because like most of the stuff I find on the net I don't know how I got there or how to get back. Sorry.

Hi DI! I have also been to the website you are talking about, but nothing on anything current could I find. I would tell peacetrails to post questions in the Iowa forum, but since us Iowans are small (what maybe 5-8 of us now) I didnt think she would get much imfo...sorry peacetrail.
You could try searching the web, in my searches i didnt get to much help. But good luck again....I maybe can help in the future (unsure where hes goin yet) I will post as soon as I know. We need to get more Iowa imfo out there, thats forsure!

yes i will post if i find anything . the reason why he would go to iowa instead of montan is the mt prison is 1200 miles from me . and the iowa prison is only 350 miles away alot closer for us. take care all thank you all peace and love mary

Hello all i found out iowa has great visiting days and hours much more then mt and lissen to this . they are changing there phone policies and inmates will be able to have prepaid phone calls YES finally it is starting now hopefully will go to every state will also post this in shout take care all peace and love mary
