I do appreciate your posting this information, I know this response is a little late, but I have just recently found this site and check it to look for information about my son and the facility. Please keep posting, and thank you so much.

Hello,
I am new to Prison Talk. I came down to Beaumont (my son is at Beaumont USP) last Friday only to find out they had been locked down that morning. I have been waiting for them to come back up and they haven't yet. Do you have any info on when they might come out of lockdown? I appreciate any help you can give me. I am sure you are very aware that the waiting is endless, but I have a family I need to get back to but feel the need to see my son first. I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Glenda

There's no way of knowing when a lockdown will end. The last lockdown information could find is this:

USP-Beaumont, January 25, 2008

On Friday, January 25 an inmate gang disturbance occured at USP Beaumont. Several inmates were treated for stab wounds. Several staff reported minor injuries. The institution remains on lockdown pending investigation.
