Hi all,

I would like to ask if you are so inclined to please say a prayer for Dominick and I on August 6th. He has his parole hearing that day. He has been turned down four times in the past and is going on his 17th year in Federal prison on a non-violent drug charge. His father almost lost his life this year due to renal failure and is on dialysis three times a week. He says he holds on to life so he may spend even one day again with his son in the free world.

I won't be mad at God because I just heard from Dom and he was turned down once again. However, I will be mad at the United States justice system, which I understand less every day.

Thanks again everyone, don't worry Donna, I know God brought us together and therefore he won't tear us apart. We have enough faith and love to go the distance, but we always have to hope, right??? I appreciate you all, and I am off to go see Dom, and make my big move to Michigan...so I'm sure all the prayers will carry me through the changes.

I am so sorry that things did not turn out as you hoped. We have been turned down 3 times in the last 23 years...But, please, never give up hope. My prayers are with you.

I will never give up hope. This was his fifth try. I feel bad for him, and his disappointment, although he hides it from me. Even though he has done many, many things and received commendations, the dean's list at the University, mentored youth inside, etc. the examiner told him he hasn't shown enough "accountability". God has other plans for us, which includes loving each other as we do, growing steadily every day. Thanks again, all! We're down to about three years now, and that isn't so bad....

Sorry to hear about the denied parole :confused: It just seems to get worse and worse when it comes to the parole boards applying their "control". If they only knew who was really in control. We serve an awesome God and all things, yes all things, come together for His glory. I truely believe that all we are going through with this prison system is just another trial to build our testimonies. Our testimonies of the strength we receive every time we acknowledge our Creator. So, let us get our strength from the joy we find in Him and put on our armor to go out into this crazy world we have to fight against every day. You know we have the victory!! AMEN?? AMEN!!
