Hi ladies. Can anyone tell me how many stamps/envelopes/paper inmates can receive in the hole at Solano. I didn't see it anywhere in the general prison information.

When my son was in the hole, I sent him stuff from the post office on line. I never tried to send him paper, but he did get some post cards and note cards I ordered from the post office. He said they only were issued 2 pieces of paper a week, a pencil (no sharpener) and that was it. I think I sent him 20 stamps per order, but the post cards were already stamed, and I also sent him stamped envelopes. Then for paper, I started sending short letters on full size pieces of paper so he could use most of it for other things. Good luck.

thanks Tricksie, but I am just trying to figure out how many stamped envelopes I can send him at a time. I guess I will call the prison today because he said he's almost out.

I think I sent him 10 each of two different sizes in one order.
