Trying to get into the chat room....why won't it let me in????

I'm not sure what you mean by "can't get in" . Do you get an error message? Does the chat software load onto your computer? There could be a million reasons why it's not working, hard to tell without more details. I've never been in there, but it's a java chat I believe. You have to make sure you have java and java scripting enabled in your browser settings. If you use Internet Explorer, make sure it's at least version 5. {To check which version you have, click on the help menu, then click 'about'} To enable java and java scripting, go to the tools menu, select options. Click the security tab and make sure your security level is set at medium. These are just a few things you can check, like I said, it's hard to find the problem without more details of what's happening when you try and get into chat.

I wish I could chat with you all, but I don't have access to a computer during those hours, only when I'm at work.

Also, I have tried repeatedly to change my profile. I need to add stuff, but can't. I end up having to say I forgot my password in order to get help. But I still haven't gotten any help. Can someone please tell me how to do this? Maybe I'm just clicking the wrong thing, I don't know...:confused:

To change your User Profile, go to the "User Control Panel" that is on every page just below "Prison Talk Online" on the top banner. After clicking on that, you will see an option called "Edit Profiles". Click on that and you can change your settings.
Questions like these can be easily answered in the "Help" section.

Thanks for explaing it to me, but I've tried that so many times now, and it's not working. This is what keeps coming up when I try edit my profile:
"vBulletin Message
That username is already in use. If you are Lis&Nif and you have forgotten your password, click here."

Hey guys I finally got in last night and I have been trying since I found this site(June).
