I hope everything is going ok with all of you. pepper24 11-03-2007, 08:46 PM Hey Girly!!! You know how things are going with me!! I'm PRETTY DARN excited, though...I get to visit MY LOVE tomorrow:D !!!! stephrn 11-04-2007, 01:10 PM By the time you read this you will have gone to see your honey! I hope you had a great visit with lots of smooches. pepper24 11-05-2007, 08:23 AM Oh yeah!! It was GREAT!!! JUST WHAT WE NEEDED:thumbsup: !! I shocked the hell out of him. He didn't know I was coming...he thought it was just gonna be his parents! He said when he walked in and saw me he actually got that nervous feeling (what we call butterflies but, he wouldn't say that) and was SOOOO SURPRISED!! We only had about 15 minutes to talk before his parents got there but, we still had a great visit!! They had 2 CO's in there right at 8...but, they wouldn't start letting the guys in until AFTER 8:30:eek: !!!! There were about 15 of the guys lined up outside the holding room, in the cold, waiting to come in!! One of the biggest jackass CO's was there...he said they couldn't let the inmates in until they had a 3rd person in there!! I don't know when they started THAT!?!?!?! They've never WAITED on a third to start letting the guys in?!?!? Hell, there's been times they've let them in with only 1 CO there!!!! That one would inspect the guys and then there wouldn't be one in the visiting room for about 10 minutes until another one showed up?!?! I don't know...things were just done differently yesterday?!?!? His parent's and I both noticed that! Was anything "off" last weekend when you visited W?? The sign in sheet is different. You have to tell them his AIS# now, not just his name. Ya know usually they give you about 10 minutes to say your goodbyes and you can stand in line with them for a few minutes after they call time. Not yesterday!! She called time right at 12:40 and by 12:45 they were separating everybody. Inmates had to line up and the family had to get along the opposite wall (where the door is for us to come in). We couldn't go past that first row of tables closest to the door. You couldn't talk to them while they were waiting in line like you normally can?!?!? I dunno...something has happened that's got them doing things all crazy and being EVEN MORE STRICT!!! I didn't think that was even possible?!?!?! But, it didn't spoil our visit!! It was still wonderful and he was SOOO EXCITED to hear about my schedule change at work!! We aren't going to know how to act being able to see one another at EVERY VISIT!!! stephrn 11-07-2007, 05:14 PM I am so glad you will get to visit him more often now. That will make a difference for both of you! And yeah, last visit they had that new sign in sheet and the guys had to line up and we had to stand behind those snack machines. But, as far as letting them in they have never waited for 3 guards to be in there. Sometimes I have looked around and no one is in there. I figure one of the guards may have gotten in trouble. Which one was being the jerk? Sometimes they treat us like we are the ones who have commited a crime. Although, the lady who does the searches is always nice. She always tells me to enjoy my visit. Sometimes, just hearing something that simple can take the nervousness away from the whole thing. It's hard enough walking threw that huge fenced gate. Atleast the guards could be semi pleasant. Don't ya think? How much longer do u 2 have to go threw this? I swear it seems like it will never end! pepper24 11-07-2007, 08:19 PM Yeah, Sap, I think she's the one who checks us in...she's usually nice. There's times though...she's ALL BUSINESS...no "chit chatting" whatsoever!! But, all in all, I can't complain about her. It definitely makes a difference IF & WHEN the CO's are "pleasant"!! Oh, honey...we've got a few more years of this!! His EOS isn't until '12. His first parole date is set for sometime in '10. We're HOPING with him being in school and such that he'll be able to request an earlier hearing. I know they SELDOM get paroled on the first try, though. So, who knows just how longer we have?!?!?! Several years...I know that much:( !! shayzie76 12-06-2007, 04:00 AM Hey guys...this is the first time I have been on in forever but I just wanted to say hey! I visit Easterling the first sat. and third sun. every month! Has any of ur loved ones had to go thru the crime bill program? He has been there since around April but was in pre-crime til a couple of weeks ago. I thought maybe someone knew a little about it because he doesn't ever tell me how bad things really are! I would love to talk to someone that has someone there!!!! pepper24 12-06-2007, 12:20 PM Hey!! My fiance is there...and, it sounds like we're on the same visit schedule:D !! I just visited this past Saturday (12/2)!! R is on the list for the classes...but, hasn't gotten into any of them, yet!! If you have any other questions...feel free to ask or you can PM me!! stephrn 12-26-2007, 05:39 PM Hey, long time no see! My puter crashed and I am just now getting up and running again. I hope e1 had a merry christmas. I am so glad its over. I have been so sad this holiday season. But hey, the countdown is about to begin. Hi, Shay, my fiance was just moved to the pre-sap dorm. He said it is much better in there. Alot quieter! So I feel better just knowing he is happier. If I can answer any questions let me know. pepper24 12-27-2007, 12:45 PM HEY STEPH!!! Definitely...LONG TIME, NO SEE!!!! I was just thinking about you yesterday!!! How's everything going your way?!?!? Is W okay?!?! I know the holiday's were probably as sad for you as they were for me!! I was missing R...TERRIBLY!! But, the way I look at it...one more down and one closer to him being home!!! (((HUGS))) |
