I read something about the facility being converted to being a reception only? Where will they send the inmates from there now?

I was hoping to find others who have loved one's in the same facility who would be willing to help us understand proceedure a little better. I've read the guidlines. This prison doesn't have a main topic in the Prison threads that I can find. But I did find some information in the "Other California State Prisons" topic area. It was very helpful. I see so much information it's almost overwhelming.

When can I call the facility to see if he's there yet?
Are there absolutely no visits ever allowed in reception?
Can we as parents and his brothers visit on a family visit?
If so, how many adults can go?
Is it a cottage or similar for the visit?
Once every year family visit? How often?

On a regular weekend visit, are appointments needed each time?
We must wait 6-8 weeks between regular weekend visits?
How do we set up the appointments?

I appologize for so many questions. If anybody can lead me to others who are familiar with Lancasters Facility, I would be so very grateful.
