Hi, I'm Amanda. I am a concerned citizen. I hope that people do not mind that I do not have connections to jail. My boyfriend is a registered sex offender and I am well aware that any minor wrong step could land him in jail for years. I would like to learn about how we can prepare ourselves if and when that time comes. If and when that happens I vow to visit him regularly until the day he leaves or one of us dies.

First, know all the rules and regulations on him to help him not violate them. Yes, they will swoop down quickly so your best defense is to not give them a reason to violate him. Having you beside him will give him strength, courage and determination to live the best he can.

Hopefully, he won't be taken back in, but if he does, we will help you through it if you need. In the meantime, hang around and get the support you two need with his being a RSO.
