I am in the first steps of trying to come home.

Need some advice on the job market in the Bay Area.

I am a Administrative Assistant with a total of 28 years experience, including 20 years active duty military time and with a financial firm.

Can you give some idea as to where to look, the possibility of Head Hunters in the area and what the overall job market is there now.

Also, since I have not been home in awhile what neighborhoods would be a good place to look for housing.

I know the housing market is really, really expensive there, that is a given. I may be interested in Daly City or San Mateo as well for housing.

A friend told me that Network Associates Oakland Coliseum hires mostly people with criminal background. They are having a job fair on Thursday 10/30/03 at the East Side Club. Since I've had NO luck at all, I think I'll attend.

Not sure if this is for Coliseum, but many companies will be there.
