Does anyone have an address for the military prison at Ft. Lewis, Wash? My son only left a message that he had arrived there and would not be able to call again until he is released. That is suppose to be sometime in December. I just want to talk to him or send a letter so he knows we are thinking of him. I have heard it is very hard to call from there. I have read that the treatment there can be very bad. My mind is running away with me and I am so worried. Any advise is appreicated.

if it doesn't work (this is part of a secure page), just go to the ft lewis home page http://www.lewis.army.mil (http://www.lewis.army.mil/) and click on "ft lewis access" and "enter," "enter" again, and then at the bottom "to visit public attractions on ft lewis click here"--that will get you to the place where you click on "prisoner visits."

Just be prepared for your first letter to be returned, becasue at Fort Lewis the inmate has to have your name and address on an approved list before they can get mail. I wrote anyway, so my son would know I was on his side.

Phone calls are hard to make for the first few days, but he will be able to call collect in a few days or at least by a week.

Don't believe all you read, my son is there and he says it is not to bad, and when we visited it was not as bad as what I thought it would be either.

He called yesterday and said he was fine and being treated ok. He actually sounds pretty good, considering. Already doing paper work for release in December. As we all do... I just can't wait to be able to put this behind us and start fresh. My best wishes.....
