My girlfriend was put on 45 days restriction and transferred to "G" dorm. I haven't heard from her in two weeks. I've sent stamps and letters, but no reply. She's been in 4 1/2 years and never missed a week of writing. Is this dorm a punishment dorm? Should I call the prison or would they even tell me what's going on?

Not sure about the dorm question, but when your on restiction they take your phone, visitation and won't allow you access to money on your account until restriction time is up. I thought you could still write and receive mail though. I would call if they will tell you anything, alot of times they won't. Maybe someone will pop in with more answers to your questions because I'm not sure about the women's prison. Hope you hear from her soon.

Like Lace said above, I would call the prison. When you are put on restriction/written up, etc..they take the phone, visitation, and store away from you until the restriction is up. I know in the mens prison you still are able to receive and send mail.

they can take youre mail privelidges as well, but i think it is a last resort before taking goodtime
