Hello all---I'm back and with a huge concern about Ron's health! With the heat being the way it is and the inmates not getting any cool air at all( unless getting a visit). Ron has developed the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion. He is also having trouble seeing things far away and needs to see a eye doctor and the HCU doctor for the signs he's given me for the exhaustion, but won't do it. Says he'll just endure it and pray for cooler weather. I told him that it will not get any cooler until late September if that. But he did need to go and see the HCU doctor. For which he kinda frowned on and I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to be treated the way they treat you there either. An he also frowned on the eye doctor thing as well. An that as well as the HCU thing I told him was his choice, but if he didn't want to faint or if he wanted to squint to see me then that was fine with me it was your decision. What all do you guys and gals have to say. Am I just worrying too much??? Michelle :confused:

He may just have different reasons for not going.

They don't help anyway?

It's "whiny" or "not macho" to go ask for help?

It's "begging" or "asking the man" for help?

All the guys are putting up with it. Why shouldn't he?

No, you are not worrying to much, it does get hot at Menard. Being the building is brick, the heat just stays in. Tony use to have to suck on ice every chance he got. His fan worked for a while. My husband had to deal with the medical group there when he hurt his hip lifting weights, I had to make a few calls down there to kinda get their attention. I am the kind of person that takes no for an answer when it comes to someone close to my heart. I feel everyone should be treated with respect, no matter who they are. I hope his eye sight gets better, and he sees the dr soon:fb:
