Most facilities will not allow backless or strapless. I too am looking for something nice within the paremeters of the institutions strict dress code.

My baby is in Folsom, and I dont think you'll be able to wear a backless dress as beautiful as it sounds..

My Mr. is trying to get a transfer to SouthPort so that we can have a ceremony. I'm hoping someone out here has some helpful info for me.

Ladies, if you google "LDS gowns or temple dresses" Although it's said to be Mormon clothing, they have cute dresses that you can wear for a facility wedding. I found one on there and it's beautiful as well as inexpensive. You can always wear the 'dream dress' at a later time (when he's home) That's what I'm doing. Renew the vows and go all out!

I have worn strapless and backless shirts and dresses on regular visits when I go to see my baby, I just put on a shawl or jacket. Maybe you can wear your dress with a shawl or jacket, they have a variety of them in bridal stores.

Just bought my dress off of bluefly.com. They have some really classy dresses that aren't traditional but are beauitiful.
