"World Atlas Map".....Is this possible to send he wants to hang it on his wall in his cell. I know I will get my ans quicker here than waiting on a call from him especially with this circumstances. (lockdown)

So happy to hear you had mail, it's makes the day so much better doesn't it?

I suggest you do a google image search for "world map", then choose the clearest one you like and play around with reducing or enlarging it till it fits on your printer. Then print it out and mail it!

I did this for my friend who wanted a 2007 calendar. He received it at his federal prison with no problems.

i strongly suggest not sending a map. most prisons do not allow maps and they will get denied... they actually claim that the prisoner could attempt escape plans.

i sent a map of california once because a friend of mine ( not at TH) used to live there and wanted one, they confiscated it. I also sent a map of my own state to someone and they took it.

These were not USP BUT, most prisons i have dealt with do not allow maps. so i'd maybe ask the prison, or take your chances, but i wouldn't buy one though, it may be money wasted.

Thank you yolie yeah was so glad to recieve his mail even though its a week later....Are they still on lockdown. incked about map this is the world atlas may be I should call the prison and find out?....and yolie for some reason trying to print it off the net i am having difficulty its only coming out with the site on america he wants the whole world.

They are off lockdown as of this morning. I know my guy had access to an Indiana map and and Arizona map in there. He was able to check out just which part of the state my family lived in and he was able to look at the AZ map to see where I would be at on vacation.

hi yeah my guy when talking to him this morning I asked wheather it was permitted he said it was because other guys had world atlas map on the wall in their cell. So will just see and yes i got my call this morning.
