If anyone is expecting a call or to visit tomorrow on the holiday I just wanted to let you know that they are locked down as of this morning. GOt a call last night before they were locked in for the evening to see if I was still going to visit today. I wasted most of my day driving there and having to turn around and come home.

Not again. We were on a roll for a minute, thought things had calmed down over there. Sorry to hear you spent your day driving to get turned away. Happened to me not to long ago and can understand your disappointment. Someone told me there was a place on the BOP website that tells you if they are on lockdown, but I have never been able to find it. Does anyone know if there is? Hang in there everyone!!

I think it is the whole prison on lockdown. Since they never seem to want to answer the phones they should have an option that you can go to to check out the status of the prison at that time.

It figures that they would go on lockdown when it was a holiday and we could get an extra day to visit.

Yep they are I was going to visit but I looked on here and seen it thank god I'm sorry to hear you drove and had to turn around. I have to say that know one ever answers the phone there. They need a message that comes on yes we're on lockdown or no we are not on lockdown. But why should they care its not there love one in there.

They are still on lockdown. My fella usually calls as soon as a lockdown is over so as soon as I hear from him I will try to get on here to let you know that the lockdown is over. If I am at work I won't be able to though.
I have tried that site you posted inkedchick and it never seems to have Terre Haute and if it does it isn't posted until after the lockdown is over.

yeah that site stinks..they did have the one in May back when it happened, but that was a huge riot type thing, so i don't know. i'll post when he calls too, he usually calls the second they get off lockdown.
