Hey Ladies, my husband and I are on our way to CRC. He leaves for Norco on Tuesday. I realize it may be some time before he is classified BUT... How will I know if he has been sent to the old CRC or the new CRC (or the building which once housed women) I guess my question is what are the different addresses I should look for when I receive his first letter. Second, I know all about the last two digits of his cdc number process as far as visiting is concerned BUT...once I find out what day I am allowed to visit, what are the procedures inside....should I stand in line for processing THEN get in another line (like at Centinella) or is it much more streamlined (like at Corcoran 1). I know the questions may seem a little minor BUT i do not want to be wandering around CRC visiting on my first day. It has been my experience watching newbies that came into Corcoran that no one seems to want to help. ANY and all information would be greatly appreciated OR PLEASE direct me to a thread that can answer my questions. Thanks so much. Have a wonderful weekend.

My husband will be mainline. Also, my husband was talking with someone who just transferred from CRC to Corcoran who advised him that Friday visits are open for "everyone" but the "last 2 digit of cdc #" thingy pertains to Saturdays and Sundays only. Is that true? I was definitely under the impression that Fridays were included in the cdc # system. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My husband has been at CRC for all of two weeks, but we got a visitor calander when we went to see him. All the days are by CDC# - one day for each group. The only open days are holidays, in this case, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have to say that our experiance was such a surprise, everyone envolved with the process was so helpful and nice....boggles the mind. The only thing I know about the mainline visit is after you park, you fill out the slip and wait in line to go through the gate. It is a fairly small parking lot, so you will see where to go. After that, I don't know, my husband is in the sny side. There didn't seem to be many people there on Sun. or Fri. We went on Sun. because we didn't know about the number thing. Hope you get to see your man soon. If you would like the dates, you can pm me.

Hi Ladies, My husband was also transfered from Centinela to Norco (CRC). I can say it's a lot better as of right now. Before my husband's yard at Centinela was always on lockdown and I was never able to talk to him on the phone. It's way different now. I talk to him everyday ( I can't wait to see my phone bill;) ) He really likes it better too. He did send me the visiting form with the days he's able to get visits. Unfortuanatly, I'm not able to see him anytime soon due to the fact that I'm 9 months pregnant and my day is coming anytime now...I would hate to go into labor at visit!...lol
So, after the baby is born I will take our daughter and our son.

I have some questions about the visiting there. How are they with the clothes...are they pretty strict? and does anyone have family visits? if you do I would love to chat with you...I have so many questions.

Thanks Ladies!

Hello everyone,
My husband was transferred to CRC on Tuesday. OF COURSE, I have not spoken with him since we last spoke Monday night when he was at Corcoran. Does anyone have a number where I can call just to make sure he arrived. I know it may be awhile before I speak with him but I want to make sure he made it to CRC. Thanks.
