My girl is set to be released in 50 days. She is currently in a re-entry work release program in Indianapolis. We have decided that it would be best not for her to move in with me after her release, because we don't want to risk any violations, and plus she wants to fend for herself.
What will happen to her? Will the state help her find housing etc? She will already have a job this i know, and I am still going to be there for her and support her.

kevinr6969, the community work release she is currently on is part of the design to help her reenter with a job and income. Right now she is probably paying a large portion of what she makes to the work release program. That is also part of the re-entry-to help her be responsible. There are some other programs around to help, some of them are based oh location and need. She should discuss options with the counselor as they should be a good source of information. I'm getting ready to start looking at those things myself (we have about 6 months left). If I find something that I think will benefit you I will add a post.
