Hello everyone, im new here:) . Im goin on my first visit to AMRC (C-95) can anyone tell me about the facility and how the visits are? oh...and are there are any van services from manhattan that go to rikers:( . Thank you in advance

nice to meet you and Thank you so much. I was wondering if there are any restrictions on what i can wear. someone said no underwire bras!!! wat would be safe and appropriate to wear????

They dont bother much with the dressing depending which facility you visit, just wear something simple jeans and shirt, to avoid any hasseling like for example belts jewlery, this way you save time =p but nah the restrictions arent that high, just dont walk in a mini skirt ahaha, but yea have fun!! my hubby jus got moved 2 rikers this mornin:( ... and im confused on how 2 get there.. i live in suffolk county so i dnt relly kno how 2 get there. and does the phone system run differently there then in riverhead or yaphank??

well if the don't have anymoney in there account there able to make a 6min call a day and the facility is not bad it goes according to their last name and dress normalif you plan to take any electronics they have a locker for that which is 50 cents and when you get to where he is at they give you a locker for your other things.

Im in sufflok county too. If you take LIRR take it to Jamaica and take the E to queens plaza. there's a bus a block a way that takes you straight into rikers. Im unsure about driving directions but im sure you can google it its in 18-18 hazen street,east elmhurst, ny 11730. Hope it helps

My bf is in AMKC as well, I've never been there to visit him before. It's going to be my first time next week and I have no idea what it's like and what to expect.
