Does anyone know how much it is to accept a collect call from Terre Haute USP? Is it more for cell phones?

i don't do collect calls, he does the prepaid calls from his inmate account, if he calls long distance it is .23 per minute, but if you get a 2nd cell phone line with your cell company (usually 9.99 per month for a "family plan") and get a local number to TH it's .06 per minute...our calls are less than $20 per month as opposed to $69 before the phone number change.

Hey can you give me some info on how the minutes work at the camp? Im trying to see what's the cheaper route to take.

Hey, inked, how did you get a local TH number? I tried to do that with my phone company and they told me no way. I would love to save us some money on the phone...it is killing me. I pay a fortune for my cell phones here and he still pays a bundle to call me. Let me know your secrets.
* As for collect calls, I am sure it is a lot! It is much cheaper to pay for his minutes and you will have 300 a month. It is a better way to go. I am sure they will take you for a ride if you accept collect calls. I don't even know if they can do that from there?? Good luck!

One month he had to call me collect for the whole month and it cost like $157 to use up the whole 300 minutes.

Are the minutes free that they give them if not how much does it cost? I have another line added to my cell plan that is a local number so he can call that number instead of my illinois number.

i have two cells on one plan. one with my hometown area code and the other with a local to fci terre haute. i have sprint and it was nothing to have it done took less than an 1/2 hour to do it. just call you cell company and ask.
