My husband is going to have to do treatment for SO for the rest of his life. He will never get out. What do I do now? Is any one else doing this too?

I thought he was getting out soon? What happened? If that was his sent was for life maybe you can appeal the courts.

He is a sex offender. he will be doing treatment till they say he is safe. Which will be never. He told me that only one person has be released from there since it started.

I don't and DH don't either. He has to do treatment for 3 years then they (state) will decide if he is "safe" to cmone home. He has been gone for 3.5 years already.

Just keep your head up. Anything is possible.. And if he and you both put you mind to it.. it will be accomplished. I bellieve in you and him.

My husband is taking the SO Class. He said it is about 6 months or so. But that is all he has to take. My husband hasnt said anything about getting treated just the classes. My husband told me that in the classes you cant say I didnt do it or anything like that or they wont let you complete it. You just have to agree to what they say. Which really sucks but he says they are not going to keep him any long then he needs to be there. He is at Lansing. Where is he?

My DH is at larned state hospital. There has only one person leave there in 14 years. My DH does not need to be there. and there is alot of othere that don't need to be there. So I don't know what is going to happen.

My man just completed So treatment/classes at Hutchinson East. He passed the tests with a good score and in now at Hutchinson South. He even quailifies for work release. After release in just over a year, he will be required to attend meetings for SO's one evening a week.
