My honey just got transferred to St Clair from Kilby, how long will it be before he is able to call.

He will have to submit a phone/visitors/funds list for approval. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for this to be approved. Not all facilities do things the same way. My son had 30 days when he got to Ventress that he could call and get funds. After that you had to be on his list. He will need your SS# & DOB to submit his list. You should be able to write anytime. Be sure to put his AIS# on all correspondence.

Thank you, I got a letter Friday and he said he submitted his list on Wednesday so I guess now I just have to wait:(
