Hi all -- my son May be transferred to CRC within the next 6 months or so. Are they allowed to take their TV's with them, and how about other
electronics? Are the yards all mainline or are there SNY yards?

Yes, they can take their TV's and other electronics, they pack it with their property. The yards are all mainline, regular numbers and 'N' Numbers.

Actually facility 1, 2 and 3 are mainline yards. but facility 4 (which was previously for females) is now a male sny yard.

So I was looking through the threads and I noticed that there seem to be way more questions poised about CRC than answers. Is it because there are not many prisontalk users whose loved one is in Norco? I'm not certain, but I have a feeling there are a lot more people, just no organized way of collecting information about resources. Something needs to be done about this....

SNY(SENSITIVE NEEDS YARDS) OR PROTECTIVE CUSTODY, ARE YARDS FOR INMATES WHO HAVE SAFETY CONCERNS (IE;CHILD MOLESTERS,GANG DROPOUTS ETC) WHOSE SAFETY WOULD BE JEOPARDIZED ON THE MAIN LINES/GENERAL POPULATION YARDS.HOPE THIS HELPS YA OUT

My honey is there and he is a Level 2.
