I send money using jPay to California.... maybe you can do it through them, it's cheaper than WU. Just google 'jpay'.

I send money all the time to Federal....all you need on line is FBOP
His number will direct the money.

leslie is correct, you don't need it to be TH, the money doesn't even go to TH it goes to Iowa, if you click the direct link to WU from the BOP website it will have the stuff pre-filled in for you anyways, all you need to put in is your info and his name and number.

jpay doesn't do federal prison that i am aware of..i just did a search on it for federal and there was nothing listed

Yea inkedchick is right if you are sending it through regular mail it goes to Iowa just put FBOP his name, his # and make sure you put the same information on the money order. Thats how I send him money I live in Illinois and I send him money on friday and he got it already cuz he called me this morning.

I use the western union online all of the time. If you set up your account, send money once then all you have to do is click send again and it's done. It is very easy to use once you get it filled in right the first time. I know you have to scroll to FBOP then place his last name with his ID # and then your information. If you have trouble there is a help link and someone online will help you thru it. I did that the first time I was trying to send money. Not sure how long the regular mail takes but with WU they have it in a matter of minutes. Good luck

Mate, I've given up trying, am off to the post office today to pay my 3bucks and get a money order and will pop it in the normal post to the des moines address, done that before without all the hassles.

Jo at least you could do that i cannot do that from here we dont have that form the quick collect just the normal western union. So i send it to a friend of his who decided to take ages to pick the $$ up sit on it for another 2 wks and than forward it so altogether from the date i send it to him to the time my guy recieves it 1 month.......that is ridiculoous but beggers cannot be choosers i guess:D
