I am trying to put together my halloween costume.
But i havent had any luck in finding the right components.
So i was wondering if any one knew of any patterns that could easily be converted to a straight jacket?
Thanks!

I would just take a pattern for a long sleeved T-shirt and (draw on extra paper taped to it) to make the sleeves long enough to tie around back. You might want to attach it with velcro at the back, otherwise someone will have to accompany the person into the bathroom everytime they need to go!
I'd make it out of a heavier white canvas or denim to make it more believable.

You can use an old white shirt and just replace the sleeves with loooooong ones and put the shirt on backwards. The sleeves have to officially fasten in back, but you can put little slits in them (on the underside) where the arms can really come out and sneak back in, etc.
