My husband got sent to Alex City instead of Easterling Yeah. They said since it would be Oct 7 before I could visit. I had 14 days to send him a care package through mail. I know white socks, boxers and t's. and some non perishable food. Does any one have specifics that can or can't be sent, can i send paper envelopes pen. puzzel books or soft back books? can he get newspaper delivered there.

They should have given him a list of everything he could have. Call the facility and ask what he is allowed to have. I am not sure about work release facilities.
