Dressed in my black and attended a rally here locally. Would have loved to been on the bus, but it was just as good here in Brooklyn NY...

I was near Washington DC today (for work) and almost every African-American I saw was wearing black. Wish I had known about this before I left home. I'm white, but I would have worn black for solidarity. The numbers of people that went and the speeches on the abuses in the justice system just made my heart lighter! I'm praying it makes a difference for those young boys and others like them.

Listening to the morning news today ---- congressional hearings are being scheduled on this madness....

It's working...the rallies, the phone calls, the petitions...

I live and work in the DC Metro area, and the melting pot that my office building represents had many people of different races, ethnic backgrounds, etc wearing black - it was really good to see!
