My Husband was just transferred from RJ Donovan in SD to CVSP and he is on the B Yard. I am not sure if he will stay at Chuckawalla or if they will end up transferring him out again? I have to wait until Monday to even call and find anything out all I got was his addy at Chuckawalla!!. I dont have a land line so he cant call me yet.... :( How long does it usually take before you get your first contact visit? I have only had thru the glass visit at the Reception Yard for about 6 months so I cant wait until the first contact visit and are you able to talk to their counselors? I am so frustrated cause I have to wait until next week to get any answers!! Any info would be helpful. Thanks :)

HI WHEN MY BOYFRIEND GOT THERE ON MONDAY I GOT TO SEE HIM ON SATURDAY THROUGH GLASS FOR 2 HOURS, BY THE NEXT WEEKEND I WAS ABLE TO SEEE HIM ON A CONTACT VISIT SO ITS PRETTY FAST USUALLY THEY SAY TAKES LIKE 7-14 DAYS BUT JUST CALL THE INMATE LOCATER ON MONDAY AND ASK IF HE IS CLASIFIED YET THEY WILL ABLE TO TELL YOU, MY BF IS AT ISP IM NOT SURE IF CHUCKIES IS THE SAMR PROCESS?.....

hey my man is also on "B"yard at chuckies hes been there for a few months now and he was also transfered from R.J.Donovan to chuckies well it took about 2 weeks for him to be classified it depends on how fast they are moving and how many guys that have been transferred there recently but as soon as he is classfied then you can have contact visits. if you have any other specific questions ask away and i will answer if i can ok?

My Boyfriend transfered from Donovan too. He got there on a Tuesday and I got to have a contact visit that Sunday. He is in C Yard. Good Luck!
