Hello everyone..

My brother was given a level 3 probation with an 8 pm curfew for a year.. He's only been on it for approximately 4 months so far. He had to meet his P.O. every Thursday (weekly) in which the past two visits, his drug test came back dirty..(marijuana).. Just this past week, Sunday to be exact, my brother and a couple of friends decide to throw a brick through somebodys window, and the police were called. The police chased them through the woods, catching only the friends that night.. My brother got away ( he claims he ran b/c of being out past curfew).. Four days later my brother called his P.O. and was then told to go turn himself in and then come see him the following day.. The next day, which was Friday, he turned himself in to the police, then was transported to go infront of the judge for numerous charges which took place that Sunday incident.. The judge cut him a deal by dropping all charges, and gave him a fine of $600 fine to pay.. So,, he then proceeded to the P.O. office, and was arrested for violation of probation. He was taken to the Sussex Correctional Institution to a holding cell until Monday where he will then go infront of the judge for this.. His P.O. is recommending that my brother goes to The "Crest Program" for 8 mths..
My question is, what do you see happening on Monday in court?? What does the "Crest Program" entail??
Another thing, my brother called my Step-father this afternoon and claims that he shouldnt be in there b/c he found out somehow that his past two drug tests were clean.. Is this possible??

About halfway down the page is the info on the program. Maybe it would be best for your brother to spend some time in jail to think about this all. It is obvious that he cannot function under probation, and it looks like it is just a matter of time before he commits another crime, which may be more serious than anyone could imagine. Regarding the drug tests, he is probably coming to the realization that he will have to do some time and is trying anything he can to get out of it. Hopefully he gets the help he needs and I am glad he has a sister who sounds like she cares a great deal about him. Good Luck.

The police action came a day after it was announced by Cash Plus’ court-approved co-interim receivership manager, Kevin Bandoian, that Cash Plus would not be able to make good on its promise to start making repayments to its approximately 40,000 lenders by April 14, as Carlos Hill was unable to secure the necessary funding or “access enough liquidity”.
