Hello everyone, my name is Star, 23 year old female from Brooklyn, NY. I am a fulltime college student double majoring in Judicial Studies and Government. I have been reading some of your posts for a few months now and finally decided to sign up. My story is, well pretty similar to many of yours except I have 3 very important people in my life in prison right now. I don't have any questions at the moment. I joined the forum more for support than anything. Its been awhile and I guess I still dont know how to really deal with it all especially not alone. These three men are the most important people in my life and it sucks being away from them. Anyways, here are their stats. I hope to get to know many of you...
My boyfriend was found guilty on assault, weapons possesion and reckless endangerment March 2001 and was sentenced to 10 years suspended after 8 1/2. He is currently placed at Clinton Correctional.
My father (who is in the Federal system) was found guilty on drug trafficking, organized crime and racketeering charges July 2002, but has been in the system since August 2001. He is at FCI Fort Dix, NJ.
My best friend has been in the Federal system for over 7 years now. He was at FCI Fort Dix but is now at a transfer facility awaiting transfer to a minimum security facility. he is in on drug trafficking. His expected release date is november 2011.
