Hi Ladies!
So.....my man gets out on Tuesday! YEAH!!! And I'll be flying to Tucson on Thursday of next week. We have business to take care of on Friday, but Saturday we were looking for something fun to do. Or maybe a nice long drive? I was wondering if ya'll have any suggestions? I've never been to Tuscon before!

You can go up to Sabino Canyon, drive to Tombstone, go to the Casino, go shopping, there's a bunch of stuff to see and do. I would go on the internet and search Tucson...

Going to Mount Lemmon in Tucson is always a nice drive. It's not far away, is a lot cooler and you can take a ride on the ski lift down the mountain. They have cute restaurants and pretty scenic up there.

Other than that like someone else suggested looking it up on the internet.

Gates Pass and the Saguaro National Monument (West, there's one on the East of town too) is one of my faves. If it's hot go early in the morning, bring plenty of water, and don't miss the lizzard display before the entrance. Stay still and you'll see some way cool lizzards.

If you like to hike, go to either of the Saguaro National Monuments and take a hiking trail (don't forget the water) (you can download maps on the arizona game and fish website), or Catalina State Park, etc. If you don't mind about an hour drive - you could go to Kartchner Caverns near Sierra Vista or Colossal Cave in Vail (this is only about 20-25 minutes from the prison). Kartchner is alot more "awesome", but Colossal is cool. Both of these have websites. Enjoy and congratulations!!
