ATT: CRC/Norco Woman,
I have read the 2 threads regarding CRC/Norco, and someone asked if they were on lockdown.. I have just read a post in California News and Events "Re: CRC" that something happened, and I am courtesy it know, if anyone has heard via phone or mail from there loved ones.... Any info please post...

My husband called yesterday (Wednesday) morning, and left a message on my machine that "he was ok and not to worry" (and since I didn't know about the fight or the death of an inmate there yet, I hadn't been worried really, even though the last time he called was last Friday, and he usually calls every night). He said he would call me again last night, but didn't, so I guess they're back on lockdown. :(

Anyway, that's all I've heard, and I hope you and everyone else has heard from your loved ones by now. It's such a shame about the inmate who died!

I also called the 800 number today, and facility 1 does have visits, EXCEPT HOUSING 107
The rest of the prison has normal visiting...

There was a riot in that prison , the prison was on lock down, my son sent a letter and said he was in that dorm and is hurt. They sent him and many others to Chino to the hole. I guess someone was hurt really badly and may die and on Wednesday of that same week a man fell to his death from a 5th floor window.They don't know why/ At least that what they are saying. There is a huge investagation going on. Please pray for my Son, this is his first time in prison and only had a 9-10 month sentence to the drug rehad program and things are really rough for him right now. He only had 3 months left and now this investagation is going to take 90 days and they are keeping him in the hole at Chino. Not sure what to do , they say he might be kick out of the program, because he was hurt in the riot. He said to pray for the hurt man. He didn't know about the one that fell to his death as the people that were involved in the riot were already gone to Chino by Wednesday, I read that in the paper. I hope this helps, I am glad your loved one is OK. I feel so hopeless right now and afraid for my Son. He is so young and very inexperience to working of the prisons and all the politics that go on there, we do not have gangs in our nieborhood at all so this is hard because this prison thing might change him and not for the better Im afraid..
