Hi everyone, I'm Amy. I posted in the introduction folder, but I thought I'd post here too. My Boyfriend has been in jail for 1 year and 4 months. I'm in California and he's in Puerto Rico. But he's from California. It's been a long and difficult road and almost unbearable at times, as you all know. I haven't seen him since he left in March of 2001 and we don't get phone priveledges. Recently he was able to call me though which is good, but lately I haven't heard from him in 3 days. He's up for parole in Sept. and if he gets it he can come home after 50 days (which would be in December). So we are hoping for his parole to go through and if it doesn't then he comes home in Sept of 2003. Not too long but just as hard. Anyway, I hope to get to know all of you. Thanks for listening :)

I hope he gets paroled. I know that it's hard not hearing his voice on the phone. It bothers me too when Billy uses up his phone minutes and he can't call me until the first of the month.

I hope all goes well in September.

Hi, Melody, and all the best to you both. Craig lost his phone for 6 months and I hate it! And seeing as I'm in Australia and he's in Georgia, I can't just pop in and see him.

38special, thank you so much. You got some support in California too! We did get phone priveledges before I moved. He was able to call collect for 10 min each time but when I moved he said they wouldn't let him add or change numbers. Totally sucks!!!
