 I wentt from a level 32 to a 23 and months did not drop I was sentenced to 46 months. The judge said once I've completed 30 months I elegible for boot camp for the rest of my sentence. I don't have any priors or convictions and I don't think that I was sentenced fairly but my lawyer Said I came out good. I don't understand????????

nvee, I agree. Seems pretty harsh. But, unfortunately, it also seems the norm for feds.

THE FEDS ARE VERY STRICT.

I don't know any of the specifics, but the low end of level 23 is 46 - 57 months.

Hi TheRightTone
You seem to have gotten a downward departure and minimum role involvement in the case. From 32 to 23 is a good thing with the Feds. The recommendation of boot camp is tricky though. For one, there must be an opening (rarely an opening available) and two you must be a good physical shape to complete the program. Boot camp isn't for everyone. Tolerance, patience and positive attitude about it is a must. Not easy to feel victimized and be obidient at the same time. I wish you all the strength and resilience. Peace.

my husband is going to be going to federal court and federal prison soon. How do you know what level he will be in on the fed part.
Thanks,
