Does anyone know how the violence is there now since it became an all womens facility? My sister is being transfered there. I know there were some deaths, lots of stabbings and rapes when it was a male juvenile facility.

Generally the woman facilities tend to have a lower incidence of violence then the male facilities do. There are a few people here with loved ones there and I have not read of any major problems. You might want to do a search for that prison and read some of the newer post and see if that answers any of your questions and concerns. I know sometimes it takes a little while to get replies on the state forums, but usually someone will come along in a day or so that has some knowledge.
