I am Jonathan the moderator for the Mississippi Forum here on PTO.

We know that many of your loved ones in California have been moved here to Mississippi, and most of them placed in TCCF or better known as Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility.

This prison is located in Tutwiler, MS

It opened in March of 2000 and is operated by Correctional Corporation of America.

It is located on 149 Acres and enclosed on 27 Acres.

The authorized Capacity is 1000+

TCCF Houses Class C Security Offenders

TCCF Is ACA Accredited as of September 2005

Programs that are offered:

Recreation
Adult Basic Education (GED)
Faith Base
Alcohol and Drugs

Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 12pm and then from 1pm untill 5pm.

You must be on approved visitation list. If you are not on an approved visitation list you must call the California DOC and find out the procedure for getting added to the visitation list for that inmate.

The closet airport is Memphis, TN and you can fly into their and get a rental car and drive to Tutwiler. That is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Memphis.

Hello Jonathan, it's me again. So many questions to ask, so little time. My inmate is in Tutwiler, MS, Tallahatchie Correctional, on the Correctional's web site, there's specific instructions on how to send inmates money however somewhere in PT. I read that money should go to Georgia. I've tried calling Tallahatchie but I get bounced around and no one picks up their phone. What do you know about this? Can you shed some light on this side of the tunnel.

Hi, I am just now getting this - Call TCCF and ask for Inmate Accounts. They will give you the required information.

Did you figure out how to put money on a prisoners account in tccf ?
