Just a heads up....hygine/care packages will be in September...not sure of the dates...

I heard rumor that they were going to have families order through a company instead of sending the packages from home. Do you know anything about this? Not sure what the policies are for the different prisons...my loved one is at Holman (still awaiting transfer request response...*sigh).

I haven't heard about going thru a certain company...I will ask my hubby this weekend...my loved one is at Bullock...(hopefully you will here soon about the transfer)

Youcan send packages to federal prison? I was under the impression that you weren't allowed.. Different depending on the prison?

I spoke with my fiance, who's at Easterling, about it at visit today. He didn't mention anything about having to go through a certain company as with food packages. He hasn't gotten a list yet, so, we don't know when they're due by. Rkered...this time around they are getting hygiene packages.

If memory serves me right, Hygene Pkgs are rewards for the "Good Guys" and they are given a list of allowable items with specific weights,i.e. oz.s, and also size of box you pack them in, and I think total weight of box. All liquid items must be in see thru containers. Hope I'm right and this helps..you can call the prisons and ask for sure.
