Again, read some of the comments. There are some real top notch citizens out there.

I haven't read the comments but remember that a lot people in the public have absolutely no idea what goes on inside a prison. All they know is what they have been fed by the news, T.V., and movies. This goes both ways. There are those that believe that inmates are all evil and there are those that believe that the inmates are all victims and the guards are evil.

It irritates me that so many people are willing to accept what is spoon fed them as truth instead of discovering the real truth themselves. And that just isn't regarding prisons, but just about any topic in the news.

Nice try Morris1. Those two guys need some serious attention from mental health professionals.

Or they may just be immature jackasses. LOL.

I don't read the comments on news but it sounds like some of them might be a tad off center.

I think that many of these commenters say things just cause a ruckus.

Yeah, you're probably right. The internet causes people to say things that they normally wouldn't just to stir things up.

Just an FYI, now Juvenile Hall facilities will be allowed to house wards up to the age of 20 years old. The only way they would be allowed to be housed in the Adult County Jail after the age of 18 years old is by a judge signing a housing order. (The main reason they changed this was due to the fact that the Adult County Jails and Prisons are overcrowded. So with all the CYA wards being returned to their counties, they needed to find somewhere to place them without adding more overcrowding on top of the current overcrowding).

Also, all wards that are currently at CYA on a NON 707b offense will be returned back to the Juvenile Halls in the county that they were originally sent to CYA from.

Getting them out of CYA is a huge step in the right direction.

Yes I strongly agree with you about that. However, I don't agree with housing 20 year olds in Juvenile Hall. This is going to cause huge issues that I'm not looking forward too.
