I am not around as often as I like anymore but i do check in once or twice a week and will do my best to answer what questions I can.

And YES Kath its right around the corner but the way Ok works its parole it will be around 90 days after we see the board before we know for sure he will get to come home since here they send it to the govenor and he gets the final say on what will actually happen.

Hey everyone, thanks for your replies and support. Joshua talked to the parole board today and they gave him a 4 month defer. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but he says it will be less than 4 months before he talks to them again, and they said there is a possibility of him getting out 2 months after that. I am very excited, I told him he has to be very good and not get into any trouble at all. After 6 1/2 years he is very happy. He has been in since he was 19 and is now 25. I can't even imagine what that is like, he has missed out on a lot of things. They told him they were going to talk to his mom and check out her house, etc to see where he will be going to. He has to go back to WI and I am in Oklahoma for now. Anyway, just wanted to share the good news! I don't know too much about this parole stuff, but this sure does sound like good news to me! Anything shorter than 26 months is a good thing! Thanks for listening! :dance:

The 4 month defer means what you think they will look over his jacket again in 4 months and then make the decision then they can grant it or defer again or stuff but since they are looking it over agin that soon it could definately mean a good thing.Best of Luck to both of you.

Hello everyone, I am new to the board. My brother is originally from Wisconsin, and he is at Diamondback Correctional Facility. I am organizing groups to take trips to visit via coach bus. I already do Prison Bus Trips here in Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Facilities. Please let me know if any of you are interested in forming a group. Wouldn't it be nice to visit for the holidays?
