my boyfriend is in the west right now being charged with a couple b&e's at first it was seven but they dropped it down to 2 because of lack of evidence. He's having issues with legal aid, he is trying to switch lawyers, because his current lawyer wouldn't show up to court and is now on vacation for 2 months and is basicially an idiot. He put in a request to switch to another lawyer and has been denied once, on aug 29th it will go to a review board and they will make a decision, so basicially it's just a lot of waiting, he hasn't even been given his disclosure yet so we don't even know what kind of time he could be facing, he thinks it won't be more than a year and a 1/2. He's been out of jail for just over a year and served 18months for a home envasion in penetang. The only good thing right now is that he's close to me, so i can see him a lot and it's not long distance for collect calls. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of how much time he might do, and if there gonna move him to maplehurst or penetang or keep him at west dentention. If anyone has any info on this I would really appreciate your help. Thanx
