I am extremly interested in planning a road trip. Just to get away for a while....how do you figure out a money plan? I have no idea how much it will cost me. I just wanna drive and drive without any real destination.

well you will probablly have a hard time planning if you dont have a destination. You need to consider gas, hotel, food, and anything fun that you may want to do while gone. Usually a vacation costs at least a couple hundred dollars if not more.

yes I would also say you need to know where you are going..when i go one a visit it always cost me $2,000 some time more.I fly 3,500 rent a car,motel,food,gas and food for him,plus whatever I do in between
