A birthday says "I am SOOOO HAPPY that X number of years ago, you struggled to come into this world, and it was such a hard thing to do, you courageously, and triumphantly took that first breath, and proclaimed to everyone within earshot "I AM HERE!"

I ASKED HIM TO CALL ME AND I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM YET. IT IS NOW 2:20 P.M. I SO HOPE THEY DID NOT DECIDE TO LOCK HIM UP AGAIN... I DON'T KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED.

I don't want to depress you guys, but I just have to say that EVEN WITH MY DYING PATIENTS, I ALWAYS bring humour into their room!

Nothing rejuvenates and strengthens people FASTER than laughter! (Ask Budwoman!)

I once told a man (who'd just had his entire colon removed due to cancer!) a terrible joke about a proctologist (that's a "bum man") who, at a bank, pulled an anal thermometer out of his shirt pocket in order to sign a check, and he says "Dang! Some a**hole's got my pen!"

Well I thought my patient was gonna have a stroke, but it turns out he didn't want his false teeth to fall out, so I said "Spit your teeth out, Edgar, and give your face a break." And he did, and he laughed so hard all the other nurses came running in to see what was going on.

Edgar just said "Get lost. Can't you see this is a private party!"

And Edgar was on his way to recovering from his cancer!

AS LONG AS you are still alive, laughter will remind you of that fact!
