I have been to visit a friend at Bibb and the first time I went, the guard said I could not wear my blouse. So I went to Walmart and bought another blouse, after the visit she thanked me for being so nice. My friend is up for parole in January and I pray that he gets out. It is so sad seeing all those men in that place. I pray for all of your husbands, sons and loved ones.

I am from Mobile as well and my fiancee was supposed to go to Fountain in Atmore and ended up in Brent. He was in county for almost 3 months, then at Kilby for about three and a half weeks and was sent to Bibb about 3 weeks ago. I am glad that I have the good and faithful Lord Jesus to keep me going! I pray for all of the families and the inmates as well.

I think women love and fall for men in prison for the same reason men fall for women in prison. We all have a need to be needed. Sometimes I think it is as strong as the need to be loved.people in prison are reaching out to us, for both love and help. They trully need us. So they fill that need within us. Also when the prisoners talk/ write to us,, they seem to be less gaurded then when we talk out here. Men in prison are afraid to show weakness in front of other prisoners, but in their letters they can open up. So they seem to be more open and honest then who we meet out here. Same with women in prison. Well thats my belief on the subject. feel free to respond, privatlly or on here

I was wondering the same thing, I usually just go to the "general, husbands & boyfriend" because I didn't think as many folks were on this site. He just got there after being in Louisana as part of that "out of state transfer to private prisons, etc." Nice to see someone else on though.
