That's the darned weather here in Toronto this Tuesday morning! WHEW!

So where are those stupid ice igloos that so many Americans think us Canadians live in? I sure could use one right now! HAHAHAHAHA

(Of course, you folks realize this is just my whacky way of saying GOOD MORNING!)

And a very good morning to you too. It's freezing here. Sorry.

Ah yes.

Down under, you're having winter, aren't you?

Perspectives! It's always about perspectives!

Good morning to you Menolly!!

It's pretty hot over here today, I wouldn't mind a little of the cold from Australia to come my way here in IL...haa haa!

Ya,

Maybe Webby could email us a nice cold Foster's! (That's Australian for beer, I'm told!)

Surely a little relief from the heat wouldn't futz up the computer, eh?

Menolly, I take that 43 to be a metric number. It's said that we will hit 105F by Thursday here in this part of the valley.

I've driven through your country (AlCan) in Feb.(1969) to Alaska and flip flopped July.(1972) That's was, when there was 1900 miles of gravel roads.

.....that 43 degrees must be celcius?!?! good lord, when it's 43 degrees here, i'm looking for a jacket!

menolly....43 cel = 109 d fahrenheit....surely that's a record?!?!?!?!?!

Oh yeah, I forgot that the good old U.S. still measures things in farenheit, and furlongs and bushels and pecks. I never did understand any of those measures...

Anyway, it's now 3:30 in the afternoon, and we're having a heck of a thunderstorm! Whew! We needed to break up that heat!

Oh and Bray, 1900 miles of gravel road? It probably would have been shorter and gentler, if you'd done the trip by canoe! Notto mention much more scenic, and you'd have come out of it, all buff and gorgeous!

I'll bring some Australian beern to our INTERNATIONAL get together. Sorry about the heat, it gets really hot here too and I know how awful it can be.

It was actually pleasant here in the dirty south. It was an overcast day - teasing us with rain - and I think it got to the upper 80's. I still sweat like crazy!

I can't wait until fall - that is my favorite time of year.

YES, Cobwebby!

If you come also, it will TRULY be an INTERNATIONAL PTO conference!!

Poor Fed X...

Does he know yet what he's gotten himself into? Is he married? Do you think he'll remain so, when his significant other sees a bunch of rampaging people rolling into town to talk about inmates' human rights?

Dear Fed X, tell her I'll bring some GREAT 100% PURE CANADIAN maple syrup, and I'll rustle up a mess of pancakes/hotcakes/flapjacks for everyone for breakfast!

Love,
Menolly!
